Election monitoring

Just a quick follow up on political news. The hallmark of empiricism is making falsifiable predictions. As to whether that’s desirable or not is something I will go into at a later date. But for now, let’s just posit it as a way to determine if someone’s theories should be rejected or not.

Turns out the populism behind Trump means that he is winning in new polls and really playing up that religious angle, as fascists are prone to do. I wish I hadn’t seen it coming.

Also, Clinton is still reminding everyone that she’s a female, but doing it in such a way as to maximize the gnashing of teeth by positioning herself as both a strong woman and vulnerable female. Again, something I wish I had been wrong about.

The political decay proceeds apace.
